Why make the internet a little harder to reach?

The internet is one of the best tools we have. It is also very good at asking for one more minute.

We built dialupr on a simple idea: sometimes another productivity trick is not what you need. A little distance from everything else is enough.

When you are writing, learning, or trying to finish one small thing, the open internet turns every interruption into an invitation. A message, a headline, a tab, or a feed does not have to matter much to pull you away.

dialupr gives you a moment to decide why do you need to interrupt your focus.

Not a lock on the door

dialupr is not meant to be impossible to bypass. It offers a small boundary for moments when you want your intention to mean something.

We are starting here. We are building the tool and its community slowly, with intention of harnessing the modern Internet.
